King's Lynn Markets


Tuesday Market Place in the centre of the town plays host to a small market most Tuesdays and Fridays.

Saturday Market Place, near the church, holds a market on Saturdays.

The town also holds some specialist markets through the year. The dates are below:

21st March - 5th April: Easter Egg Trail

Open to all, this fun trail starts at King's Lynn Tourist Information Centre. Please call 01553 763044 for more details.

30th March : Royal Anglian Parade

A Parade of the Royal Anglian Regiment will take place in Tuesday Market place from 12.00



April

1st - 26th April: Fenland food in the past, present and future

This exhibition has travelled around the county and now can be seen for free at King's Lynn Museum. Please call 01553 775001 for more information.



May

1st May: May Day Procession

The procession includes May Garland dancing and will take place in Saturday Market Place. All are welcome.

4th May : Great East Anglian Run

The 10K race returns to King's Lynn. The Corn Exchange in Tuesday Market Place, will be Race HQ and the start and finish will be just outside. Spectators are welcome along the route to cheer on all who are competing. Please visit the Great East Anglian Run website for entry information.



June

28th June : Festival Too

One of the largest free music festivals in Europe, Festival Too starts on the 28th June. This year the festival welcomes Atomic Kitten, Toyah, The Commitments, T-Rextasy, Boot-Led-Zeppelin, and will also be supported by local bands Kuda, After Hours and the Red Hot Soul Band.

13th - 26th July: King's Lynn Festival

The ever popular King's Lynn Festival offers the opportunity to see some fantastic musicians in the Corn Exchange. Acts this year include James Galway and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. The full programme will be released in May, please check the festival website for up to date details.

14th September: Heritage Day

This is a rare chance to view some of King's Lynn's historic buildings which aren't usually open to the public. Please call 01553 763044 for more information
